The Santa Cruz de Tenerife Carnival 2025, which will take place between February 28 and March 9 in the street and will be dedicated to Los Secretos de África, will have a total of 43 kiosks specialized in the sale of Carnival items, drinks and food. The stalls will be located in the streets of Valentín Sanz, Villalba Hervás, La Marina and Castillo, as well as in the squares of Spain and Candelaria.

The Autonomous Organism of Festivities and Recreational Activities (OAFAR) of the City Council of Santa Cruz de Tenerife held today, Tuesday, the auction of the kiosks, which was held by a show of hands and through the system known as ‘puja a la llana’. The starting prices of the stalls, which are maintained with respect to past editions of the festival, ranged from 620, 08 euros of the cheapest and 17,584.84 euros, this being the highest bid, with those who started the inns to be installed in the squares of Spain and Candelaria.

The event concluded with the awarding of 43 kiosks out of the total of 54 stands that were put up for auction for a total amount of 221,680 euros, an important economic injection for the maintenance and improvement of the festival itself. A total of 11 stalls were left vacant and the OAFAR reserves another 31, to which the commercial firms sponsoring the Carnival will have access upon payment of the fee.

The kiosks will be open to the public from February 28 to March 9, coinciding with the dates of the Carnival street events.
