For the mayor of the city, Jose Manuel Bermudez "this is one of the contests that keeps more essence of our carnival, which was born in the street and in the costumes, and still maintains the same spirit". For the Councilman of Festivities, Javier Caraballero "this format gives us the opportunity to value and give greater relevance to the work that so many people carry out in their homes with the sole purpose of enhancing our streets every February and make our carnival more spectacular".
